We were initially interested for protecting our plumbing and water heater from the hard water, but the improvement in our dry skin, cleaner laundry, and no more soap scum in the bathtub are why we will always have a system. Follow-up visits after our installations are superb.

We love the taste of the water from our reverse osmosis system better than the bottled water we were purchasing. The savings will definitely pay for the system, plus we feel better taking our own fresh water in stainless steel bottles instead of throwing away all the plastic water bottles.
